What our readers are saying
“Seventh Row champions great art and delves deep. When I’ve fallen in love with a film, I want to pore over the details and consider it deeply, and Seventh Row indulges that.” – Jessica Dillon
“Seventh Row is a wonderful source of discovery. Rather than follow the hype, they seek to promote films from underrepresented voices.” – Brett Pardy
Fest after fest, @SeventhRow always goes deep on less heralded films. I loved their coverage of Ava, The Judge, and others.
“Every Seventh Row article is worth reading twice – once to learn about exciting new films to keep an eye out for and a second time for a detailed analysis that adds new layers to the film you’ve just seen.” – Brett Pardy

Enrich your film education
“I love all of the filmmaker interviews on Seventh Row. They are to film what the Paris Review interviews are to literature.”
– Shaula Evans
“Seventh Row interviews reveal the excitement the filmmaker has in discussing film at a deep technical and thematic level.”
– Brett Pardy
“Rather than banal questions about where a director’s ideas come from, Seventh Row’s in-depth interviews let me learn about the birdsong chosen for the sound design by Francis Lee or Joachim Trier’s thoughts on editing and location scouting.”
– Jessica Dillon
