Why should I pay for Seventh Row?
We’re a Canadian-run publication with an all-female editorial staff and a staff of writers that are mostly women; plus, we aim to put a spotlight on films directed by women. We encourage our writers to follow their passions, and the result has been really exciting.
We put a lot of love and care into every single piece we publish, and we’re so glad to be able to share the work of our wonderful writers with you. We put a lot of demands on our writers to make sure they meet our high standards for publication, which also means a lot of work for our editors. We love doing it, but we’d like to be able to compensate everyone on staff for their hard work.

Because we don’t publish filler content or clickbait, you’ll want to sit down with our articles and enjoy them. The easiest way to read them is in our eBooks, which compile several related articles into one place so that you can flip through them at your leisure rather than having to check the site each day for new articles.

How do I cancel my book club membership?
You can cancel your book club membership anytime. Log in to the website with your member account, click on the ‘My Account’ logo, then on ‘Subscriptions.’ Next to the details of your membership details, click on the green ‘View’ button, then on ‘Cancel’.
Alternatively, you can email us at email@example.com with ‘Cancel my membership’ in the subject line, along with your original order number for your membership (or the email address of your member account), and we will terminate your membership in a timely fashion. Your membership will be valid until the end of the period for which you have already paid.

How can I read my eBooks?
Each issue is available as an ePub and a PDF. You can read ePubs in most e-reader apps, including Kindle and Kobo. When you purchase an eBook, a personal download link will be sent to your email within your receipt.
Can I gift book club memberships?
Yes, you can purchase a book club membership as a gift. To give a book club membership, visit the product page here. At checkout, check the box next to “This is a gift” and enter the email address of the person you’d like to send it too.
Can I gift ebooks?

I just received a gift of a book club membership. How do I use it?
Click on the ‘Log in’ button at the top right of the site, then enter the login details you will have received in an email (your email address and password). If you can’t find your password, click on “reset password” to have a new password emailed to you. Once you log in, you will be able to download all of the books associated with your membership here. When logged in, you will also receive a 20% discount on additional ebook purchases.
How can I become a bigger supporter of Seventh Row?
You can donate to the Seventh Row and name your own price. One-time donations and recurring monthly donations will go towards helping us maintain the site and pay our hard-working writers, so that we can continue expanding.
Can I get a refund?
We do not issue refunds for digital products once the order is confirmed and the product is sent (or the membership benefits become active).
We recommend contacting us for assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org if you experience any issues receiving or downloading our products or accessing our members-only content or products.
Can I cancel my order?
You cannot cancel your order for eBooks or Gifts.
You can cancel your membership at any time. When you cancel your membership, your membership will remain active until the end of the period for which you have already paid for the membership.
I’m trying to make a purchase, but my card keeps getting declined. How do I fix this?
This is mostly an issue for our American customers where banks are extremely vigilant about putting a hold on your credit card if they don’t recognize a merchant for any reason, and we assume they are confused by the charge in CAD.
If you log into your credit card account online, and acknowledge the blocked charges as legitimate, this should clear the hold on your account, and allow future purchases from us to proceed unhindered. If you’re still experiencing a problem, please contact us so that we can help you resolve the issue.
