If we picked the 2022 Oscars…

With the Oscars coming up tomorrow, we’ve envisioned what the awards ceremony would look like if we got to pick the nominees and winners (the answer: very different).

Note that we’ve excluded some categories that we didn’t feel we were able to give a very comprehensive or informed opinion on. The categories excluded are Best Animated Feature, Best Short Film (x3), Best Original Song, Best Original Score, Best Visual Effects, and Best Makeup and Hairstyling

We’re currently working on an ebook about the films of our Best Picture-winning director, Joachim Trier, including his Oscar-nominated The Worst Person in the World. You can pre-order that now.
